Hello, I'm Ileara Brown, MA, LMFT

The name of my practice reflects my conviction in the transformative power of introspection for mental and emotional health. It is founded on the principle that self-examination and the exploration of one's thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are vital to therapy. In my practice, I offer a secure, private, and unbiased environment where clients can delve into their psyche and identify the underlying reasons for their challenges.

    My Story

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach in 2002 and my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from National University in 2012. I hold licenses as a Marriage & Family Therapist in California (2017) and Washington (2021). My experience spans various settings and a range of mental health conditions.

I have personally faced challenges in articulating my thoughts and emotions and have sometimes felt unsafe sharing my struggles or barriers to success with loved ones. This is why making sure you feel comfortable and secure is my utmost priority.

In therapy, my aim is to foster a compassionate and empathetic sanctuary where individuals are acknowledged, supported, and affirmed in their experiences. I hold the belief that everyone possesses the necessary skills and tools within themselves; my job is to illuminate these strengths through diverse techniques to assist each client in achieving their personal objectives.
Successful therapy is characterized by you feeling more equipped to confront life's challenges, not by being prepared for everything, but by having confidence in your ability to manage and be alright.
